Patty grew up here in the River Valley and has over 25 years experience in aiding and assisting people who have experienced tragedy, abuse and trauma.
She is the proud mother of six children, wife of retired Marine veteran, and has worked in education, youth programs, along with a community reintegration program for youth in foster care in Arkansas. She also enjoys volunteering for Arkansas Special Olympics and singing at her church.
In her years as a counselor she has provided services for adults, adolescents and children in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, school-based and in residential treatment facilities. Patty is comfortable working with a variety of mental health needs including depression, anxiety, anger management, mood disorders and PTSD.
She has received extensive trauma-focused training including TFCBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy), TFCBT-PSB (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy – problematic sexual behaviors), EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) and is equipped in providing a variety of interventions. Patty is experienced in providing crisis intervention, crisis stabilization and understands the various types of trauma including but not limited to, tragic death, divorce, military combat, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and spiritual abuse.
Patty is passionate about assisting clients in their journey to understand and overcome struggles and trauma while providing hope, assisting in healing and rebuilding their lives in pursuit of peace and restoration.
Patty is currently accepting new clients for both in-person and tele-health therapy.
